    Nothing Compares to You
    By:  Clyde Watanabe

    It is serenity
As Your loving touch soothes me
    It is tranquility
Gazing into deep blue rolling seas
    It is authority
As the light of Your spirit penetrates stormy skies
    It is purity
As winter's soft white snow abounds
    It is majesty
As mountains oversee all Your creation
    It is security
    Your promises for all mankind

    Amazing grace and
    Never-ending love
    You're everywhere
    Everywhere I turn

    Nothing in this world
    Nothing compares
    Nothing can love me
    The way that You do

    Not just for now
    Not just today
    Not just tomorrow
    But for eternity

    Open my eyes
    Open my heart
    You're everywhere
    Everywhere I turn

    Nothing, no nothing
    Nothing compares
    Nothing compares
    To You

    Have a great Monday!

Please pray for my brother-in-law, Herman.  He has had cancer surgeries  and chemotherapy and now he is trying a new experimental drug.  He is in a test program with about 4 other people who qualify to try this out.  I think the Dr.'s feel this is his last chance to get rid of the cancer. He is only 35 years old.  Thanks for yor prayers!!

    Have a blessed day!

Today is a good day to stay home and cat nap!!!  It is rainy, windy, and cool here in Jersey.  One of those days you wish you didn't have to go out in!!!  Anyways, I have a shopping trip planned for tonight to Wal-Mart with my clients.  We'll see if the rain holds them back from going.  I usually have some die hard shoppers!!!  Have a great day!   Lisa

    Hi!

Well, its cool here in Jersey this morning, even frost on the ground!!  I had a busy weekend shopping, house cleaning, and visiting my grandmother!!  The weekend goes too fast!!  I want to start over again!!!  I'll leave you with a song for today, I am not sure who wrote it.

I sing praises to your name, Oh Lord
Praises to you name, Oh Lord
For your name is great and greatly to be praised.
I sing praises to your name Oh Lord
Praises to your name, Oh Lord
For your name is great and greatly to be praised.

I give glory to your name, Oh Lord
Glory to your name, Oh Lord
For you name is great and greatly to be praised
I give glory to your name, Oh Lord
Glory to our name, Oh Lord
For your name is great and greatly to be praised.

    Have a great day!

    The Colors of Life
    By: Clyde Watanabe

    What a beautiful picture
See the joy and the love?
    Feel the heart and compassion
    The colors of life

    Even in black and white
    From darkness to sunlight
    To contrast to highlight
    Life is so vivid
    The colors of life

    No matter what you do
    To add color to life
    To alter the images
    Add special effects
    What do you really change?
    The colors of life

What do we want to see?
    Even with opened eyes
    What is reality?
    There's no escaping
    The colors of life

    Babies born, children cry
    Bells will ring, children sing
Love and hate, we ask why?
Greed and lust, wars and crime
    Disasters all of the time
    For all generations
    The colors of life

    No matter what you do
    The colors will fade
    Into lost memories
    It will all pass away

    What a beautiful picture
    Of the colors of life
    That cross on a hill
Radiates a hope and a future
    And destiny to fulfill

Red, the blood that was shed
Then our hope rose from the dead
    Nothing we do
    We don't deserve
    Only by grace alone
    Opens our eyes to see
    Black turns to white
    Oh, such a magnificent sight
    The colors of life

    Have a great day!

    Joke-Around Tuesday!!

An elderly gentleman passed his granddaughter's room one night and overheard her repeating the alphabet in an oddly reverent way.

"What on earth are you up to?" he asked  "I'm saying my prayers" explained the little girl.  "But I couldn't think of exactly the right words tonight, so I'm just saying all the letters.  God will put them together for me because he knows what I'm thinking."

Have a great day in the Lord!

I have been out for my morning walk with Shelbie and I have to say we weren't out there as long as we would have been as it is getting colder outside!!  It will be interesting when it snows how she will react to going out.  My mom says I will have to get her some little doggie boots.  Ha!

On another note, I will be taking my clients from the Day Care Center on a $1.00 store trip tonight.  I have my group that love to go shopping.  When I say $1.00 store trip tonight many of them now say "tienda de lo pobre"  or poor people's store.  We all laugh and I forget which client had started that but the expression has stuck!!  We have a pretty high ratio of hispanic clients at the center and I am always trying to learn new words as much as I can.

Well, everyone have a blessed day in the Lord!
