i was wondering what happened to you......i hope you're feeling better with every hour that goes by! i know that with the rapid change in weather around here, a lot of folks are under the weather. hope it's gone soon so that you can enjoy the holiday next week! what are your plans? have a good day to day lisa! =bette
it's a shame sam has to work on thanksgiving. anymore, there doesn't seem to be a day when everyone is off at the same time. in the town where i grew up, there were many dutch farmers who regarded sunday as a day of rest, and in that one town, nothing was open on sundays.....nothing....ever. i used to find it to be a bit of a pain, but you know, they at least gave themselves that reverent holiday once a week to be with family and in church. since a lot of the farmers have died off and modern day life calls for it now, sundays there are just another day....can't help but feel that we lost something when that happened.....
used to be that major holidays everyone was off, but not any more. not even on christmas....i find that one of the hardest things to deal with in the workaday world. all the days just meld together...
