Hear Our CriesBy: Julie Pisacane Around this world in every nationDifferent thoughts and dreamsAre pondered and awakenedTo overtake silent screams. Shattered lives want war to endOthers need an urgent cureChildren wish food to be sentSome pray for strength to endure. Imagine that such goals could be metAnd we took part of this missionThink about the time that is leftTo make a difference;Keep the vision. Storms increase, as many ignore the frantic criesSilent screams fill those still afraidTurmoil spreads while so many are claimed "wise"Lives are left destitute and Without any aid. Is any nation so wonderful and greatTo promote their plan that ignites more hateMy wishes are differentMy tears are real-For all the soulsThat will never heal. Did we help or hurt-Reach out or pull backTo those in need . . .In all of us, mayAlmighty GodPlant charities seed. God Bless, Lisa
