I'm ready for some football this afternoon!! I hope the Eagles don't disappoint me again this week!!! Not doing good so far this year at all!!!! I have a roast in the crock pot with potatoes, carrots and onions so it will be ready this afternoon after church. Have a great day everyone!!!!

Well, we had a good day off yesterday. I got some fall cleaning/decorating done and Sam mowed the lawn and got a hair cut. The weather has been nice!! Back to making the donuts today!!!

Hi everyone!
I am up and going into work early to cover for my co-worker who is off for Jewish holiday. The good thing is if I go in early I can leave earlier and start my weekend earlier!! Yay! Not much else going on here in Jersey. It is cooler and nice fall weather her today! Well, everyone have a great Friday! TGIF!!

Hi!
I am going to answer the feature question "What are some of your favorite childhood memories?"

Well, The family always got together at my grandmother's house for Sunday dinner. Great food! I remember her always making her "sweet" ice tea, we're talking sweet! I remember getting together for the holidays, having eater egg hunts at my grandmother's too. Going to my Aunt Connie and Uncle Johnnie's for christmas eve every year, we still do!! I remember going to the pool in the summer time at the apartments complex we lived at. The kids had a blast playing marco polo and such. I also have lots of memories of being in the high school marching band, that was great for me!! I was actually so down when I graduated because I wouldn't have marching band anymore!!!

Well, those are just some things I thought of!

Hi Everyone!

Yesterday my husband had off and I took a vacation day. Our family decided to surprise my grandmother at the nursing home with a picnic. They have a nice area with 2 picnic tables on the grounds. So we all met at noon and then an aide brought her out and she was surprised. Shelbie even went on the picnic!! There was about 11 of us altogether. It was a beautiful day too! We also took care of some banking business, went to Boscov's and bought a pair of sneakers each, and then when we got home Sam mowed the lawn. So, we got a lot done yesterday!!
