I had a pretty busy weekend: Sat I went to local flea market and spent a little time there and got some produce. I got some housework done and got groceries. I went to see my grandmother this afternoon after church. I made strawberry shortcake last night, that is one of my favorites!! Well, have a great evening!!

Mmmmmm! Strawberry shortcake! my mom and gram used to make homemade baking powder biscuits for the base when i was growing up. I have usually bought the little spongecake things in the produce department, but one of these days, i'm going to go back to the old-fashioned idea...
yeah, the monkey was pretty weird...interesting, but weird.
howdy! yeah, tomorrow i have an appt. here at the house at 9 and now i have another one at 3pm too! i hope they both show up. it will be a wasted day at home if they don't! i do have a few errands to run in between and i need some groceries!
today is patches second birthday! i'm so glad that he is feeling better. we've been off the anitbiotic for several days and the fever has not returned, nor has the swelling in his neck...i think we got it!
