Hi! Well, I had to get a new alternator in my car this past Sat.!! At least I wasn't stranded anywhere. The battery light came on and I took the car to get looked at. They had it finished in a couple of hours from when I got it there! So that was good. The heat/humidity is on again here in Jersey!! I did a lot of cooking yesterday to have things ready to eat for today/tomorrow. I'm glad I did with all this heat today!! Well, have a good one! Lisa

Hi Lisa - I just wanted to tell you that I am the new leader for Heart Beat Team #14! I commented before on your site about the Cape May Zoo. My daughter lives in southern NJ, near the Delaware Memorial Bridge. I've been there a few times - it's beautiful!

supposed to have been really hot here today too, but the cloud cover is keeping the heat at bay i think.
still, all in all a nice day. i do hope we get some rain soon though. the plants are exhausted!
I ended up not getting any breakfast this morning with early errands to run, so i am eating an early supper, we'll call it "Lupper"! leftover pizza and salad from yesterday. i took my van in for repair and they gave me a nice minivan in exchange for a rental. i really like it. too bad i can't keep it now instead of the van.
....huh? what will i eat for supper now? maybe breakfast cereal! HA!!!!

hi, yeah, by the TV Guide channel we were supposed to lose 2 channels to digital on July 18th, Hallmark and a sports one....the sports one didn't matter to me, LOL! But i would miss my Hallmark. there's not much good on tv and most of what is is on Hallmark. but, i noticed this morning that it's still on....huh? are there more than one hallmark channel? or, maybe i got the date wrong? but the other channel is gone....
basic here is about $20/month. i think i have about 30 channels--i've never really counted them. but, yeah, i agree with you, it's just not worth it to pay so much more for tv, when all my life, growing up in chicago, we just got what we could pull in on our rooftop antenna. we never had to pay for that at all! I've heard of sky angel, but I don't know of any outlet for it here. i'm sure the cost would be more than the cable anyway.
it's still raining/storming here. the past 3 days/nights have been pretty noisy. it's been helpful to the grass and plants tho and i'm glad for that. i've only had to water my plants a few times since i planted them. the overnite rain is the best for them anyway.
well, i hope you have a good day. we have more storms on the way through here during the day today, and then it's supposed to clear out by evening for a couple of days i think.
