hi kiddo!  just checking in to see how ya are!  it's cooled off here in the chicagoland area for a day or two.  yesterday, it was so hot you wanted to take your skin off if you could, and today you need a jacket...it is the strangest weather i've ever seen...

I brought Naomi and Ruth home today.  I put Naomi's pic up on my site.  Ruth is a little more shy.  Miss Tillie is beside herself wanting to 'taste' them, or hunt them, or chase them, or something.  I think she thinks I bought her some wind up toys....i got one of those balls you put the rats in, but before i let tillie see them in it and start chasing them around, i want them to get used to things here s-l-o-w-l-y.....or they'll be terrorized.  they are both in very good health and seem very friendly.  my vet checked them out today.  i will have to get used to thier tails hanging out of the cage though, that is a little weird.  I had gerbils in a tank, and hamsters don't have tails, so this is different fo'shure!
