drop in to say hello to you!
Amen! Great song .....have a great day in His love!
howdy do missy! yup...some of those cats are just not adoptable. while i feel for them being abandoned or just dumped, you can't just expect to rescue it and then 're-hab' it to change it's personality from feral to good-natured. i don't think it works that way with cats. moreso with dogs, but even there, i know that pitbulls, if they do not pass the agression testing, are destroyed here in illinois. seems unfair, but it's the breeders responsibility and the owners' responsibilty to keep the dogs health and well socialized. when that fails, or people make a dog mean and then abandon it, i think that they should be punished severely for that. it doesn't solve anything to put dogs/cats down if the people raising them continue the harm. it's sad. we love our furry kids like they were human.... i can't imagine what some of these animals have been through. the no-kill shelters are to be respected, but i do think that they should have some limits as well. as we're seeing with this one coming in at petco, it's getting out of hand and soon all the cats will be suffering.
well, i got home with patches. his temp is gone and he's acting normal. lymph nodes are still enlarged however showing that this is still being fought. we'll retest blood for tick borne illness around july 8th and it will probably show up then. he has all the symptoms, despite my religious application/administration of heartworm preventative, and flea and tick products for 10 years with all 4 dogs, of ehrlichia/Lyme disease. SO, ALL READERS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT WHEN YOU PURCHASE THESE PRODUCTS AND USE THEM RELIGIOUSLY, IT IS STILL NO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR PET WILL NOT BE BITTEN AND/OR INFECTED WITH TICK BORNE ILLNESSES! i've called frontline myself and they will say that nowhere on thier packaging does it say that it REPELS fleas and/or ticks, nor does it state 100% covereage against those things. it's a buyer beware society where we assume that in buying one of these products we are eliminating the possibility of infection. it simply isn't true. it reduces risk, but does not eliminate it. i switched from advantage/advantix to frontline because Roscoe seizured out on advantix. Peanut had seizured out on Bio-Spot. Nobody seems to have had adverse reactions to the frontline, but it obviously didn't prevent an infected tick from biting him, at least twice. ah me!
hope u have a great day as well
