    Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!

     

    I'm proud to be an American
    Where at least I know I'm free
    And I won't forget the man who died
    Who gave that right to me.
    So I'd gladly stand up next to you
    And defend her still today.
    For there ain't no doubt
    I love this land.

    actually the words you have posted are from a Lee Greenwood song.  He did a patriotic album some years back and I have it on cassette tape...see how old I am?
