    Random thoughts:
     
    Hi!  I'm back and survived our houseguests!!!  We had a good time and everything went well!  We ate, talked alot and ate some more!!!  Ha!  I think I gained 10 pounds.  How come when you have guests you always seem to eat more than you would otherwise!!!!  My mom was the one who called Mon. afternoon and said put on the tv as there has been a shooting at VT and 31 people have died!!  We watched the coverage and was in shock!!!  Why are things coming to this in these days!!  I think the reason is prayer is out of the schools and Satan has had a way to take them over!!!!  Well, all we can do is pray!!!!   Have a great day everyone!!!     Lisa

  • you know what i find most interesting?  that the U.S. fights desperately for separation of church and state, and we take God out of everything.....yet, when something tragic happens, like Monday's events at VT, everybody is hugging everybody else, candles are lit, prayer books are signed, religious services are in abundance, there is prayer on the school campuses, memorial/religious services, the churches are all open...religious leaders are speaking in the public forums and in the lecterns at the schools, and there is a call for  'god to bless' from the president and other prominent leaders, and moments of silence in congress.  so, what is God to the United States?  just somebody we compartmentalize and pull out of our pockets whenever we are miserable?  then just put him back again?  *sigh*  it makes me tired.....when is the country that was founded on faith going to wake up and embrace again the God who walked alongside the founders of our nation?

    I'm glad your company went well and you enjoyed things so much!  Hope the weather out there is improving.  We've been hearing about it on the news here for the past several days!  a little rainy here, and in the 50's, but they are calling for some really nice weather coming in for the weekend now!  yay!

    I LOVE having people over!!  Our house is tiny so we can't have many at one time, but we have fun!  lol  

    It is unbelievably horrible, what happened at VT this past week!  My  husband and I were talking about homeschooling our boys and that just made the answer seem clearer to me.  Very scary!!

    I can't wait to get to know you!!  I am very excited to be the new HeartBeat leader for this team.  I have a list of our new team on my site too if you want to get to know your teammates!!!
